 Covaxin Doses at Rs 295 per doses According to the purchase agreement between government of India and Bharat Biotech on 11 January, Bharat Biotech will provide 55 lakhs doses of coronavirus Vaccine Covaxin at Rupees 295 per dose.  Bharat Biotech will be providing it's vaccine to 12 states before 14 January. Starting from january 12 dispatch will begin from hyderabad.  In the stage 1,  Bharat Biotech will be providing 38.5 lakh doses of it's coronavirus vaccine and 16.5 lakh doses in stage 2.  CM OF WEST BENGAL ANNOUNCES FREE COVID VACCINE FOR WEST BENGAL Kolkata: On Sunday (January 10) Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee announced free Covid Vaccine for the residents of West Bengal.  Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee said in a letter to frontline workers that TMC (Trinamool Congress) government will ensure coronavirus vaccine reaches free of cost to the people of West Bengal.  AAP DECLARES WHO WILL GET THE VACCINE FIRST. Delhi Government on 9th of January announced their decision on "who will be vaccinated firstly".. Mr.Manish Sisodia, The education minister of delhi and also the member of AAP stated that every teachers of delhi goverment and MCD school (which are currently on covid duty) will be given first priority in the list of frontline workers which are, to be vaccinated in the first place. Mr.Sisodiya furthermore added that he raised this matter in a conference meeting of DDMA (delhi disaster management authority) on 6th January.. after the agreement of all the officials.. it was decided to take this decision. The total number of MCD schools run by delhi goverment is 449 (estimated).. which consists of 40,000+ teachers and 1,700,000+ students..  Vaccination of Covid will begin in India on 16 January  Vaccination of Corona Virus will begin in India on 16 January, government stated Saturday evening, after the review of Covid-19 situation in the country by prime minister Narendra Modi. Frontline workers and health care workers will be the priority, estimated number is 3 crore. Adding that they would be around 27 crore people consisting  above 50 years as well as  under 50 years of age with co-morbidities. For emergency use in the country, the government had already approved two vaccines, Bharat Biotech's Covaxin and covishield, developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford university and this Covishield vaccine is manufactured by Pune-based serum institute of India.
